About Jo

Jo has been teaching Pilates from her private studio since 2006.

Following a number of injuries and illness during the early 2000s, Jo began practicing the Pilates method. Jo soon began to notice positive changes in her own health and fitness that no other form of exercise had achieved.

This led to Jo completing her Full Certification with STOTT PILATES®, training in Toronto, Los Angeles and New York and achieving her TRX qualification from TRX Headquarters in San Francisco. Jo has more recently been recognised as a STOTT PILATES® Specialist in Athletic Conditioning, Group Matwork, Group Equipment, Rehabilitation, Interdisciplinary, Active for Life and Dance. Jo is also a TOTAL BARRE® Qualified Instructor and a CORE™ Qualified Instructor.

Becoming a Fully Certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor has enabled Jo to teach others the benefits these specialised movements and exercises can have on one's health and fitness whatever one's age or ability.
